Routes and Tips: Yaguas: The Last Frontier

There are at least three ways to get to the Yaguas in the Amazon jungle. Take one of the twice weekly flights (Sun & Wed) Lima-Iquitos-Leticia (Colombia) . Otherwise there are daily flights from Manaus-Tabatinga (Brazil). You can also travel there by boat from the Peruvian town of Benjamin Constance. For lodging, you can stay in Leticia at Parador Ticuña. There is a lodge owned by the same family as the Parador at Isla de los Micos (Monkey Island) wich is a 10- minute boat ride from the Yagua village.
